Well...... Cyclone Ului was a fizzer in SE Qld , but our shoot was not!! 73 archers enjoyed the first competition on the calendar for 2010. They experienced some of the best 3D courses, food, and company Caboolture could offer.
It was pleasing to see that the threat of a bit of rain did not discourage these staunch competitors.
The courses were set in high broken scrubby ground with some great gully shots. The course setters excelled, fooling some of the best archers, with no 100's recorded all weekend.
Huge thanks go to the ladies in the canteen for keeping everyone's appetites satisfied...... thanks also to everyone who helped getting the targets etc to and from the venue ...... thank you course setters and the biggest THANK YOU to the weather GOD for keeping it dry for us!!!

ps The only visitor to the event wa Maryanne who ended up walking away with the raffle prize. Not a bad prize for a first time shooter.
