Mountain View Archers

Sunbury Lodge - Nabiac 7/8 March 2009

(scores)

Forget the competition, it was the mozzies that tried to eat you alive at the first shoot for the NSW Series!  164 shooters turned up to Sunbury Lodge for the season opener wondering what Al Sherman & the happy band of rangesetting sadists from Mountain View Archers had in store for everyone. Many were excited about the move from Long Flat & all were happy to be shooting some very unfamiliar ground.
Great ranges, as expected, with some of the prettiest terrain around. The ranges set along the road were  well received as there wasn’t a lot of physical exertion involved, only the mental challenge of trying to figure out if the targets really were as far as they looked! The slight rain that fell on Sunday didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm & overall, it was an amazing weekend that is going to be hard to beat.

(I must say that's a lovely brolley Chigga has Ed)
