TRAD Division Rule Survey

In 2009, IBO changed the TRAD Division rule to allow the use of aluminium and carbon arrows. As 3DAAA has a Policy of following the IBO Equipment Rules as closely as possible, given the difference in demographics, it implemented the rule change for 2010.

This has upset a number of TRAD shooters who feel that TRAD division should be restricted to wooden arrows only. The Committee received a number of letters and a petition to change the rule back to allow only for wooden arrows.

The Committee gave an undertaking at the 2010 AGM to conduct a survey to better understand the feelings of its members and the traditional community in general.

Be aware that this is not a vote where the majority wins. It is merely an attempt by the Committee to understand the views of the wider traditional community and not just the few who have expressed their opinions to date.

Of course our members will have the greatest influence however we are still interested in the wider view.
